Crafty Christmas Countdown #17 – Long Slim Gift Box

While shopping the other day a Chocolatey treat caught my eye, and gave me the idea for this. I really should except that Chocolate is my muse. Lol

I really love the Cookie-Cutter Christmas stamp, who doesn’t love a gingerbread man, and the fact it has a matching punch just makes crafting with them so much fun. I used it a ton last year and haven’t seen it used much this year.

The sentiment was perfect for sharing so I had to use two of the little Eskimo’s. The Christmas around the world DSP (it gets neglected to) was a perfect pairing as there’s only a few colors and easy to give the Eskimo a matching outfit. (A girls gotta Co-ordinate. Lol)

I’m so in love with the blends, I honestly spent maybe £300 on pens from a different brand and couldn’t get the whole 3 shades, tones, blend, light source thing so they just make a dust collecting rainbow on my shelf. but the blends are soooo easy to use and get good results. I’m a complete beginner but after getting used to them I love my results and I can finally start using those stamps i’ve been putting off because of the colouring needed. I always have fun after a colouring session with my blends. It brings me back to the days of being a kid and sitting for hours colouring the books I would get for xmas and trying to keep in the lines. Lol.

If you haven’t tried them you really should, there’s something so relaxing about sitting and colouring even with out the blending, but when you add the blending it like your bring the Eskimo’s to life and giving them a little personality which makes them look happier. Who wouldn’t want a little gift of happiness?

Hope you enjoyed that project, I love seeing all your versions of my projects so remember to share and tag me so I can see, or you can share them in my Intatwyne Designs Craft Forum facebook group and i’ll see them in there.
