Birthday Extravaganza – Birthday Memories Suite Pop Out Card

Hope you all had a chance to go around The Pootlers Blog hop yesterday. Wasn’t there alot of inspiration to be had. I know a couple more items got added to my NEED list. Lol. If you did you would have already seen my project for today but I wanted to show you how I made it.

I was stuck for the last few ideas of things to make for the Birthday Extravaganza so I asked the ladies in my Facebook group (click here to join) for some ideas and Sheryl showed a lovely card she made for her aunts birthday. This card reminded me of a very special card I made for my aunt before she passed. That card was the last one I made like this 5 years ago now. It was a very special card and I didn’t want to make another afterwards. But it felt like the right time to make another now and who better to make one for then my Momma for her birthday yesterday. She really loved it and was like a big kid. Really, I could have left her playing with it for hours. Lol.

The Birthday Memories Suite was perfect for this as there are so many different elements to the DSP and they have matching dies so you can cut everything out with ease, Gotta love that. Plus the images are so fun to craft with and with all the bright colors I had so much fun making it.

So I hope you enjoyed that Project, Hope it was easier then it looks for you. Don’t forget to come back tomorrow for another Birthday Extravaganza Project.

I love this design, thank you so much for sharing it. My Godson’s daughter just turned 1, so I made one for her first birthday. I made mine into a mini album showcasing photos of the baby from her first year. Although I was not at the party, my husband assures me that the card was a huge hit with everyone. It looks so amazing, but was so easy to put together. The hardest part was deciding on which pictures to use.

Ahh that sounds lovely Mary. It really is an easy design but packs a big wow factor. But I agree decorating it is always the hardest part.
