Mother’s Day Week: Domed Front card

I love the falling in love suite, There’s some really lovely bits to it. You might have missed the 12 x 12″ card stock pack. Confession time, I ordered it during the pre pre order (one of the demo perks) and only realized it was 12 x 12″ when it came. Must have been all the excitement from getting the catalogue so early. Lol it’s nearly that time of year again so i’m super excited to be going to onstage in Amsterdam soon and seeing what new goodies I can play with for next year and meeting up with my sister Demos.

As there is 21 sheets in the pack, I thought why not go big with this card and really show it off. I used to make cards like this all the time, but then I got into making 3d projects and haven’t made a proper wow card for ages. There’s no better time then for Mothers Day to dust of the cobwebs, Lol.

I hope you like this card. Its a bit different from always doing 3D projects. I wanted to try and cover some of the basics for Mothers day to give you a few options. This week has flown by and I’ve been having so much fun sharing these fun projects with you. I think i’m all set for my mothers day gifts. It’s always so hard to shop for my mum as she has alot of allergies so no flowers, perfume, smelly creams or bath stuff and she’s not normally a big chocolate eater. So every year i’m left scratching my head and end up making cake, She LOVES cake so its always a happy gift but it can get boring. This year she can have a nice selection of handmade goodies for a change.

Ok so one last confession, I had to change the greeting on card from the one in the video. Straight after filming. I cut it too low and it was really getting to me, I was a lot happier afterwards. Lol Anyone else get a bit OCD when crafting??

I’m always OCD and even more when I craft 🙂 – it’s what makes my projects so much more fun because I know they are done just right. You have the best ideas and look forward to opening your site every morning this week and twice a week on other weeks. Have a Peaceful Day

But the the card front measures are in the video 6×7-1/2 and here 6″x7″.
