Gift Box For Large IKEA Tealights using the Brights and Regals DSP Collections By Stampin’ Up!

While sorting through my inspiration shelf looking for ideas, I found an old candle gift box I made before getting my hands on Stampin’ Up! Goodies.

I remember it taking ages to make just one because I had to print the patterned paper and I couldn’t get the colours right to go with the card stock I had, it took several attempts and lots of wasted ink and card. It didn’t match the candles because the main place I got my craft supplies only carried a few colours and I didn’t have many small dies that would fit either. It made crafting a real nightmare and it was nothing special to look at, It was one of the last projects I made with non Stampin’ Up! goods.

I’m so so so happy I no longer have these frustrations and I can just spend time crafting knowing everything will co-ordinate perfectly, even with the various shades of ikea candles. Crafting doesn’t take hours anymore to do one simple project. Although I can be there for hours playing. Lol

I just love how easy it was to just select a Color and have the card, patterned paper and ink. It actually works out cheaper then printing my own patterned paper when I think of all wasted ink, card and time it took plus I could never print bigger the A4 either so there was lots of wasted pieces.

Hope you liked that project, I think it makes a nice little gift to give as Mother’s Day presents, teachers gifts, or just as a random act of kindness gift.

Hi Angelina. Another great video 😊 Can I ask which scissors you use? x

Thanks Carol. The scissors I use are Stampin’ up! ones. Sadly they have retired now but I love them too much to not use them.
